Neighborhood Circles

The members and friends of our congregation are organized into geographic neighborhood circles. The mission and goals of this project are:

Mission:   To strengthen caring connections and facilitate conversations and communication among UUFB members and friends at the neighborhood level

Goals:
To provide opportunities to get to know each other better
To provide care and support to one another in times of need
To better welcome newcomers into the UUFB community
To provide a structure for smaller group conversation and communication
   To encourage carpooling

Involvement is strictly by choice, and the hope is that neighbors will carpool and gather for social events. The circles have also become a convenient way to offer and receive help in times of need.

There are five circles: Yellow (Downtown), Blue (Port Royal), Green (Lady’s Island), Red (St. Helena/Dataw) and Purple (Burton). Look for the dots on name-tags to find people who live near you. Contact the office (Administrator under Contact Us) to confirm your interest in participating and to give your permission to share your contact information with the members of your neighborhood group.

*It is the policy of UUFB to keep all non-member contact information confidential unless permission to share such is granted by an individual (e.g. address, phone, email).
