A memorial service will be held in the UUFB Sanctuary on Saturday, June 17th, at 2:00 p.m., to remember and celebrate the life of our beloved founding member Jim Key. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers, Liz and their family asks that memorial gifts in Jim’s name be directed toward one of the organizations supported by our Social and Environmental Justice Committee (especially Penn Center), or to the UUA for Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism (BLUU). Cards may be sent to the family at the address in the online Membership Directory. Please continue to hold them all in your thoughts and prayers.
As Moderator of our Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), Jim was well known and loved throughout the country. UUA will hold a service and sponsor a memorial fund for Jim at General Assembly in New Orleans on June 24th, 2017.
