THE GIFTS THAT GIVE TWICE
As you think about buying holiday gifts for your loved ones this year, think about using Great Lakes Scrip to make those purchases and UUFB will receive a percentage. You can use gift cards to purchase presents and/or give hard-to-shop-for family members gift cards. There are hundreds of participating retailers you can get scrip from, including major department stores, discount stores, and even Tanger Outlets. For those who love to eat out there are dozens of participating restaurants. For the music collectors, iTunes and Amazon are both participating retailers. If you’re not sure where you’re going to shop, Discover and Visa both offer scrip. Remember, buying scrip doesn’t mean you’re giving gift cards to everyone; it can simply mean you’re using scrip to buy the gifts you’ll be giving. There are lots of deals going on right now.
