To Be Continued: Festive Season

Lori Zooming (2) (2)

Dear Ones,

It’s looking positively FESTIVE here at the Fellowship!

Thank you to all who brought ornaments to adorn the Christmas tree in the Fellowship Hall! It looks fantastic! I’ve always preferred the trees that have an assortment of different kinds of ornaments over those that have all the same thing.

Thank you also to the cookie bakers! I knew a colleague years ago who went on an annual cookie/candy fast beginning Dec. 1. He really wouldn’t partake of Christmas cookies or fudge or anything sweet until after Christmas. I guess it was a spiritual practice for him. I enjoy the holiday goodies, even though I don’t really bake any myself. So, it was a real treat to have the treats last Sunday during coffee hour!

Thank you also to Betty, who made sure the tree was here and ready to decorate – and got the wreaths hung on the doors to both our buildings. Your generosity is much appreciated. And thanks to Ellen, who helped arrange the tree – and managed the donations for the auction at the same time!

Speaking of the auction – I hope everyone had a good time bidding, and you all got something you really wanted.

Now – remember that Sunday, Dec. 11th is our Annual Meeting! Please attend and take part in the democratic process – or provide your absentee ballot before hand.

…humming Christmas carols…

Blessings,
Rev. Lori
