Dear Ones,

This coming Sunday will be my last in the UUFB pulpit before going on sabbatical. While on sabbatical I will not be keeping office hours, attending services or meetings, making pastoral calls or visits, or writing this column. A sabbatical is a time for a complete break from ministerial duties.

So, who do you call with questions? The Sabbatical Brochure, which will be available beginning this coming Sunday, will answer this question more completely. 

First and foremost, our Administrator, Nick, will be keeping office hours on Tuesday and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and will be checking for phone messages on those days. You can also reach him by email. 

Nick and I want to let everyone know that MONDAY is now the deadline to send articles in for that week’s Headline News, as he will be putting it together on Tuesdays. Please make his job a little easier by remembering to send articles in by the deadline.

Nick’s office hours are now Tuesday & Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. That’s when you’re most likely to reach him at the office. 

I’m very happy with the new multi-platform worship service set up, and I hope you are as well. It’s great that those who live at a distance – or just might not feel well enough to attend in person – are able to join us virtually. Another round of thanks to the Technology Task Force – J.W. & Jinny, Carole, Jeanine & Nick – who made it possible!
