To Be Continued: Giving Thanks

Dear Ones,

As our COVID numbers are relatively low at the moment, it seems that this year more of us will be either welcoming others into our homes – or traveling to be with others for the holidays. This week, as many of us gather with family and friends to give thanks, I want to say thank you to YOU, the congregation members of UUFB!

cornucopiaThank you for being a beacon of liberal religion here in the Lowcountry. You are needed, and you make a difference. Thank you for working in so many ways to make life better for so many people here.

Thank you for your kindness to one another, and to all who make their way to our doors. Thank you for serving the Fellowship in many ways – from helping with dishes on Sunday after Fellowship Hour, to chairing a major event or committee.

Thank you for sharing your many, many gifts with one another, with this Fellowship, and with the greater Beaufort Community.

Thank you for all you do, and most of all – thank you for your presence on Sunday mornings. That is a precious gift only you can bring.

I hope you will join us for our four Sunday services in December. In addition, we will have our annual Christmas Eve lessons and carols service on Dec. 24 at 5:30 p.m.

We hope to be in person for all of these, though your Reopening Task Force will continue to monitor conditions closely.

    Gratefully,
        Rev. Lori Hlaban
