To Be Continued: Fall News

Dear Ones,

Fall is truly here – and it feels so good! There are so many things going on this fall! Please be sure to read the whole Headline News, so you don’t miss anything!

If you’re a member or pledging friend, you should have received your pledge packet by now. After attending one of the online cottage meetings this week, please send in your pledge form as soon as possible. We count on those pledge forms to help us build our budget for the coming year.

We just found out that this Saturday, Oct. 16th, Penn Center is hosting a Heritage Harvest Day Tour from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the Penn Center grounds. There will be food and drink, the farmers market, music, artists, arts and crafts for sale, and buildings will be open for tours. All for $25.00 admission. Here’s a link to their video ad.

The UUFB Auction is returning! Donations will be accepted for our online catalog Nov. 1 – 21; bidding opens Nov. 28 and ends Dec. 4. Watch for more information from Jinny and the Auction Committee soon.

Our campus is looking spiffy with a new sign, newly painted Fellowship Hall, and a lot of clean up by Jinny & JW.

A very small group (3 of us) met Oct. 6th to begin discussing the 2020 UUA Commission on Institutional Change report titled “Widening the Circle of Concern.” These discussions will continue – and you’re invited to join us as we look at issues within our larger Association, and the recommendations from the Commission for all. Please see the article elsewhere on this. Let me know if you’re interested!

    Blessings,
