Welcome back to another President’s column.  At the July meeting we approved Policy and Procedures for a Committee on Shared Ministry.  One more step towards setting up this much needed committee.  Some good news, we finally have internet access in the Sanctuary!  Hopefully this will be helpful in future worship services.

One of the goals for the board this year is to create a strategic planning committee.  We are working to educate ourselves more on what the committee will be charged with, and how strategic planning looks today compared to in the past.  

The board received a report from Nicolas Ashford, the Fellowship Administrator, on possible equipment needed to stream services.  The board approved Nicolas to get some estimates on the cost to purchase the equipment and have it professionally installed.  We hope to have more news on this soon.

As a reminder, all members are welcome to sit in on a board meeting.  If you would like to speak on a topic, advance notice is required in order to add you to the agenda.  Meeting minutes are available to view in the members section, as are the treasurer’s reports.

The board will rest in August, and meet again on September 14th @ 4:30.
