HELLO!!!

It is good to be back, though I’m missing the slightly cooler temperatures of the upper Midwest. It is good to be back in Beaufort.

I’m looking forward to being with you again this coming Sunday, as we host former Beaufort Mayor Billy Keyserling, in our pulpit. Mayor Billy will be sharing his thoughts and plans for developing educational curricula and resources for all schools, to teach about the Reconstruction Era of our U.S. history.

I hope you’ve had a chance to read his book, Sharing Common Ground. This is a great opportunity to listen, learn, and perhaps think about getting involved in these grand plans. 

Our summer worship series is focusing on legacies – what is left behind – in many different ways. Mayor Billy’s ideas, if brought to fruition, would leave a powerful legacy. 

I’m eager to hear more. I hope you are, too!
