Welcome back to the monthly board update.  At our April meeting we continued our motivating leadership training presented by Rev. Lori.

Work continues on several projects, including the Emergency Preparedness policy, restructuring the program council (it will be fun!  I promise!), updating the communications policy and more.

We were excited to approve a small group policy and are looking forward to some in person meetings while continuing to be safe.

In more exciting news, we approved an application for a new Spiritual Affinity Group.  You will hear more about that soon from its founding members.

I would like to take a moment to mention the survey sent out to our members by the re-opening task force.  We have had a little over 50% participation and would really like to see 100%.  The more feedback we have, the better decisions we can make.  We need to consider each member’s voice as we go forward.  So I encourage anyone who has not done so, to please complete the survey at your earliest convenience. It’s a simple yes/no survey and takes about 5 minutes to complete.

Board meetings are always open for members to sit in on.  If you would like to speak at a board meeting, contact a member of the board a couple of weeks ahead of time so you can be put on the agenda.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 4:30pm. The meeting agenda will be posted on the website one week prior to the monthly meeting.  Members may click here to access it.  A link to the Board meetings will also be posted with the agenda. Meeting minutes are posted in the Members Only section of our website after they are reviewed and finalized by the Board.
