To Be Continued: Spring is here!

Dear Ones,

It is March! Spring is beginning, temperatures are rising, and allergies are blooming. Tom and I are seeing more wildlife and flowers on our walks, though the azaleas seem to be delayed this year. Since we purchased our home in February, we have celebrated that anniversary with a profusion of pink and white blossoms surrounding the house.

For some of us spring brings renewed energy, a lightening of the spirit, as days are discernibly longer. (Daylight Savings Time begins on March 14th, by the way!) For others, spring is a time to do spring cleaning. Still others look around and make some assessments and choices.

However spring affects you, I hope you are greeting each day as the gift it is, and giving thanks. Even the rainy days, for they will bring us those azaleas – and much more.

I’m grateful every time one of you lets me know you’ve received your first – or second – COVID 19 vaccination. That’s good news to celebrate! Remember that I love you, and I’m glad you’re here and part of the Fellowship. Get vaccinated when you can, if you’re able. Be well, and stay safe!

Blessings,
Rev. Lori Hlaban
