Family Promise Fall Update

October 6th saw a family successfully graduation from the Shelter Program.  They will now participate in the Staying on Track (aftercare support) Program.  Another family is currently working with their Case Manager to locate housing, having already gotten a job, and enrolled their child in school. Family Promise is proud of these families!

Family Promise of Beaufort County remains ready to continue their mission to provide temporary shelter, family stability and permanent housing solutions for homeless families in need. They also continue to assist those who are at risk of losing their homes by providing rental assistance, where needed. If you know a family who may be experiencing housing insecurities, please suggest they give Family Promise a call at (843) 815-4211.  We are ready, willing, and able to help!

UUFB has long supported Family Promise in a variety of ways. If you friends would like to contribute to the support of the families in our Shelter Program, Food Lion gift cards, in small denominations, are always welcome.   Check with Barb B. on how to help!
