In the midst of a pandemic, our program year has begun. We celebrated the annual Ingathering/Water service last Sunday, with a special video montage including photos and words from members and friends about water.

We crossed another threshold with this service, too! That Ingathering service, along with three others from the past several months, are now available for viewing on the Fellowship’s YouTube channel! You can simply go to youtube.com and search for “UU Fellowship of Beaufort,” and look for the picture of our Sanctuary building. Also on our YouTube Channel are the special water service and flower service video montages, separate from the services in which they were used. So, if you just want to enjoy a few minutes of viewing beauty – floral or watery – you can do that, too.

We are working on getting more of our services uploaded, a process that has several steps. First is making sure we record the service when it’s happening. Sadly a few services were accidentally not recorded. This is followed by the editing process – deleting some pieces, e.g., joys & sorrows, or pauses while shifting to a video, and adding title slides and credits with our licensing information. Finally, the video is reviewed again before uploading onto YouTube. We hope that those who have internet, but aren’t on Zoom, will at least be able to access these videos.
