To Be Continued: Busy Holidays

Dear Ones,

Trying to do everything can be exhausting in many ways. As we move through this busy holiday season, I encourage all of you to take some time to slow down, rest, and restore your spirit.

This time of year is a time of holy darkness, a time when many plants and animals go dormant, a time of rest and growth. For many years I celebrated the Winter Solstice with a small circle of friends; and though it was one more event on our calendar, for most of us it was a time for healing the season.

Whether you love the bustle and busy-ness – or need a respite, my wish for you is that you will enjoy your celebrations fully and deeply.

Whatever holiday(s) you celebrate, you can celebrate with us! This coming Sunday we will “Watch for the Light” in a service on the Winter Solstice and Hanukkah. We also invite you to attend our Christmas Eve lessons & carols service on Dec. 24th at 5:30 p.m.

Happy Holidays!
