Second Helpings Food Available to All

This is to notify our members and friends that food “rescued” by Second Helpings from retail outlets is available to anyone who chooses to utilize the service.  Every day, Second Helpings trucks deliver to shelters and other food distribution centers in the area.

At Penn Center every Friday, the food comes in on the SH truck around noon and is distributed on a first-come/first-serve basis.  The only information gathered is name and age of clients.

Please consider how you may help this program serve others, and how it may help you or your acquaintances meet immediate needs.
